GÁRBO FESTIVAL is a travelling theatre festival born at the intersection of European cultures and stages. We create a platform for artists, directors, and audiences where theatre goes beyond the traditional format, and every new location becomes part of a live performative journey.

Starting in 2026, GÁRBO FESTIVAL will travel across European cities — from Scandinavian shores to southern amphitheatres — hosting festivals rich in performances, workshops, discussions, and street actions. The focus is on independent theatre projects, contemporary art, and cross-border dialogue.

The festival is open to international collaborations and aims to bring together new names and established masters on a common stage. Each edition of GÁRBO FESTIVAL is not just a program, but an event with a clear theme, curatorial approach, and attention to the place where it takes place.
